Welcome to EKA Martial Arts run by Chief instructor Sensei Steve Powell (6th Dan Black Belt), and Sensei Sam Powell (3rd Dan Black Belt).
Sensei's Steve and Sam teach traditional Shitoryu karate, KickBoxing, Weapons, Xtreme Martial Arts and Dinky Dragons® at their full time school in Essex.
Both Steve and Sam have had the privilege to train with some of the traditional power houses of karate over the years as well as being graded to Black Belt by them.
These karate masters include Sensei Tani, Sensei Kimura, Sensei Enoeda (Shotokan) Sensei Yamada, to name but a few.
Steve is also president for The World Karate Society, as well as England head Coach, whilst Sam is founder and creator of our Dinky Dragons® program.
